It all started with an opportunity. Immersing myself for three weeks in Benin, a West African country located between Togo and Nigeria. I discovered voodoo, far from the usual clichés. One year later, my work are exhibited at the François Mitterrand media library in Digne les Bains.

Proud and honored to win the Lorenzo Natali 2019 Award as the Best Emerging Journalist for my article on water hyacinth in Benin. This prize is considered as an achievement for the “journalists who go beyond the relentless influx of information, taking the time to listen, explore and discover development stories around the world.”

From Santiago de Cuba to Havana, a journey of more than 1,000 kilometers through time. Cuba the fearless, Cuba the invincible, Cuba the indescribable. A country full of paradoxes, an unrealistic fantasy, a dive into a gilded poverty. Santiago de Cuba, Camagüey, Santa Clara, Sagua, Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Havana: a visual record of this east-to-west crossing.
